My buick rendezvous's cassette player keeps saying "tight tape" everytime. I use cassette adapters and now they don't work. Any help will be appreciated.

It is internal. rubber bands are used to operate this. Yo could tear it apart and try to find the bands and fix it, But you cold also replace it for around $70. And not have to use the adapters.

Cleaning the Radio may fix it but what it sounds like is there is a lever inside that got jammed and you have to take the player apart to get it to work again.. Cheaper to get a new one

Where do you plug in your mp3 player on a santa fe

Unfortunately there is no Auxiliary Output Jack on the 2007-08 Hyundai Santa Fe, if you want to use a MP3 Player you can use a FM Stereo Transmitter Module where you can listen to it on a free FM Channel or you can change the complete Head Unit (Radio) to a aftermarket one with that feature.

I have a 91 Honda Accord with the original FM/AM/Cassette stereo. I use a cassette car audio kit for my cd/mp3 player and the cassette player has flipping sides while the tape for my audio player is in...

probably the belt for the pullys inside are worn, if you can get replacement ones they are easy to fit, just open the case and slip the old one off and new one on.(may have to remove an internal cover also)

Phillips cassette adapter ploblems

I have the same problem with my tape adapter, I have found that a radio tuner adapter is the way to go. but if you insist on using the tape make sure if you stick your finger in one sprocket hole that the other sprocket turns too, and if it is a little difficult to turn, chuck it and get you a new one.

sounds like the cassette adapter has a bad channel, or didn't fully seat into place. Try removing and re inserting, to play the other side of the adapter if the wires will allow it. Then auto reverse the cassette deck to allow a different portion of the cassette head to be used for the signal. Those cassette adapters are poor quality, and put alot of time on the mech.

Chevy Cavalier Cassette Player

The tape player is probably broke. There may have been pop spilled in there and got it all sticky inside. Use a maglite and look inside the tape player for this or bad dust etc. You will have to replace the player, and you might as well get a cd player since it will not cost you a ton these days. You can use an mp3 player or ipod today, but if you want to use cd's, then install a cd player. You should be able to do this pretty cheap now, maybe $40-60 bucks or so.
