If only code p0300 exists, one bank fuel trim is lean, and the other bank fuel trim is rich, it is wrong camshafts timing. If you mismatch one tooth on timing belt, the result is engine minor misfire and code p0300 is set.
Please remove the timing belt and match up the line marks on the timing belt with the marks on the camshaft and crankshaft pulley. Please pay attention to the arrow on the timing belt point to the front

Replaced damage abs sensor. How do you reset the abs light on a 2000 nissan pathfinder LE?

You will need to clear the codes with an OBD-II scanner, or remove the negative battery cable from the battery for a few minutes. Just be sure the ignition switch is off when disconnecting/reconnecting the battery cable. Have a good one.

How do I reset the check engine light on a 2003 nissan pathfinder

You need a scan tool that works for that model 1996 and up are OBD 2 systems. Before 96 you could disconnect the neg battery cable for 5 min. and it would clear the light. You might get autozone or kragen to turn it off for free if you have them check for codes ask then if they will reset the light.

For 1993 Nissan/Datsun Truck Pathfinder 4WD 3.0L SFI 6cyl the OBD Diagnostic Link Connector is located: Front seating area, driver side, driver side of steering column, under dash, mounted above fuse panel.

Hope this helps (remember to rate this answer).

I am trying to do an engine diagnostic on my 1995 Nissan Pathfinder and don't know how. all local shops do not have equipment to check. it is pre-OBDII. is there a way to check without buying expensive...

it is OBDI and any shop worth going to will have what is needed to do the job.
Or goto your local parts store and buy a scan tool for about $50.

Need diagnostic codes read on 1994 nissan Pathfinder

yes. you must read the codes from the flashing red and green lights on your ECU which is beneath your passenger seat. Rather than go into the gory details on how to do this, please refer to the instructions located at the following link. http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showtopic=21
