Question about 2005 Chevrolet Equinox
The AC on my 2007 Equinox is not as cold as it needs to be. Leaving on vacation in two days and can't get into service. Could it be as simple as needing to add freon? Would it hurt to do that?
It may be low on freon but that is usually installed by a service tech anyway. putting in freon isn't like putting in oil...
Maybe you can find a shop along the way who can check your freon level and put in more if needed.
Hope this helps... Good luck!

I agree with wilson59 u can easily overcharge by adding freon yourself wich can cause even more costly repairs best thing would be to try to find a service center along the way

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
