Question about 1989 Pontiac Bonneville
Take it to a reputable car audio shop. They can reprogram it and show you how to do it if it happens again. You could do it yourself if you had access to the stereo's owner's manual. Or you may be able to contact the tech dept of the stereo maker and they may be able to give you instructions.

The radio may have a security code,if it has & the battery has been disconnected it will not work until it has been recoded....hope this helps.....cheers
