On my 1985 Chevy truck S10 I change spark plugs now it cranks over but it won't start

You may have put the wires back on in the wrong order. Just one wrong (= 2 wrong) is enough to do it. Otherwise, wrong plug type and/or you didn't set the gap when you installed them. (You _cannot_ put the plugs in "as found" in the boxes). The easiest "cheater" way to set the gap is to measure the gap on the old plugs with non-corrugated cardboard (like a "matchbook"), and set the gap the same on the new plugs. WARNING: Doing it that way will likely work, but the gap _will_ be wrong.

How spark plug gap Chevy caprice 1989 V8 motor. Set idle up - too slow - stalling out.

Spark plug gap will usually not cause the engine to stall out. This vehicle should be fuel injected. The idle is controlled by the computer. How did you set it up? Have you scanned the computer for trouble codes to point you in the right direction? Check for vacuum leaks.

The spark plug gap for this application is 0.60 Although, the spark plugs are Iridium plugs and are pre set by the manufacuter and should not be tampered with due to damaging the diode on the plug. The correct application for this vehicle should be AC DELC0 IRRIDIUM SPARK PLUGS.
