Either you have a dirty cable connection (likely negative battery cable) or it is loose. Dirty connections will cause this. Also bad solenoids will cause this.

i actually have 2 mustangs, i switched the selinodes last night, no change. i pulled the AOD and replaced with T5 this past weekend, all terminals are freshly cleaned, greased up and tight. i pulled the starter just now, hooked up battery cables direct to starter, nothing. before i spend 75 for new i am looking for a second opinon doctor. thanks for your next reply.

Are you getting full power from the ignition switch to starter? Have you tested the starter relay? Checked the ignition wire?

if i am hooking battery cables direct to the starter and it does not respond how would wiring have anything to do with it?

If you are hooking battery directly to starter and it is not responding, than the starter is bad or the arm that moves out drive gear is stuck

85 mustang fuel pump not primeing

See if the oil pressure switch has 3 prongs. If so and it's leaking oil, that may be the problem. I can't recall what year they stopped doing that switch but my '89 had it. Aside from that, check the fuel pump relay. It can click and still not supply power to the pump.

89 ford mustang v-6 is the c-clamp going to seat the caliper?

yes it will, just turn in slowly it will set piston bck in,not much force needed if it is hard to seat piston back in caliper you may have a bad hose or caliper, the way to find this out is open bleeder and if its easier to colapse the piston then its a hose if it doesnt make a diffrence then its a bad caliper, but this is only if you have a problem the c clamp will do the job, hope this is helpful.
