Hi...

check the wiring and connection to the bulb.
check the relay to which the turn signals are been conected.
check the fuse for particular system and if blown out replace it.

Hi there, I have a 2005 Chevy Malibu 3.5L engine with an error code B3948. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks!

See if the signal flashes, buy a new bulb. Some Chevy no longer use a flasher relay, the signal comes from the body computer.

Why won't the front turn signal work? I just replaced the entire headlamp assembly on 2005 Chevy Malibu.

is turn signal plugged in?
if this is a new bulb try the old one to make sure bulb is not at fault
then need to check the voltage at the connector.
A test light is easiest way from a good ground to each terminal.
if flashing the ground connection could be corroded.
if nothing at connector try the connection at the turn signal switch.

Front driver side turning signal lamp will not work then works. Looks like both side are heating up to much and melting lenes ? Changed bulb works but still getting to hot?

Double check to make sure you have the right bulbs in them, some bulbs may look exactly alike but one uses more amps then the other. If they are correct try cleaning out the sockets with elec. cleaner and then put some new bulb grease in the sockets.

2004 Chevy Malibu, both front turn signals are not working. Rear turn signals are fine. Hazards will work in the rear also, but not the front. I replaced the hazard switch in the dash and the problem...

replace both bulbs,, on the chevy they use the new bulbs with the very thin wire that goes into the socket, they have been having problems with the plastic in the socket getting hot and being partially covered, which makes the connection no good,, try this, with a small, screwdriver or if you have one a small pick tool, gently pry the wire outward from the socket,, Just a very little will do the trick,, then put the bulb in the socket, you should be fine after that ,, if the rear lights are working, then nothing is wrong with the signal switch, since they are on the same circuit. your hazard switch you replaced was probably ok also. if this doesn't work, do the same thing on the bulbs,, to insure a good contact

Left side turn signal's do not function on my 2005 chevy malibu bulbs are new can not find a fuse for the turnsignals

If only left sides are not working there may be another bulb bad some vehicles incorporate sidemarkers as turn signal as well.Would check right side first and see what lights are flashing for sure and compare to left side.If not a bulb would double check the sockets and wiring itself. It is not uncommon for a socket to go bad.

2004 Chevy Malibu driver's side turn signal doesn't work

resistance from the bulbs activate the flasher, so if a light is out it won't flash, could be a ground or an open circuit, time to check wiring

'05 Chevrolet Malibu - Front Right Blinker is not Working

You need to check for power coming out of the turn signal switch with a test light, or voltmeter. On older Chevys, the R/F turn signal wire is dark blue. Check the color of your wire at the bulb socket, then locate the turn signal switch connector, and probe that color wire with the ignition switch on, and turn signal switch in the right position. If you have power coming out of the T/S switch, you have bad connection, or open circuit between it and the bulb socket.

Fuse for turn signal

I ACTUALLY HAD MY FRIEND TAKE A LOOK AT THE PLASTIC PART WHERE THE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT CONNECTS... HE ADVISED ME THAT THERE IS A BAD CONNECT AND THAT ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS CLEAN THE METAL AROUND THE PRONGS ON THE BLACK PART OF THE ACTUAL LIGHT BULB THAT YOU PLUG IN ... YOU ALSO NEED TO PUSH THE LITTLE METAL PRONGS INSIDE OF THE WHITE SOCKET BACK UP SO THAT THEY CREATE A TIGHTER/SNUG FIT FOR THE BLUB WHEN PLUGGED BACK IN.... I HAVEN'T HAD ANY ISSUES SINCE HE FIXED THIS FOR ME ... AND MY 2 FRONT SIGNALS BEFORE THIS HADN'T WORKED FOR ALMOST A YEAR....

Right side blinker (front) on 2005 Chevy Venture won't work!

Typical problems like this are usually related to the turn signal switch, or the bulb. However, it is possible that you have a loose connection in your turn signal housing. I would check the housing and wiring going to the bulb, first!

IF you rule that out, then next step is turn signal switch. This will be replacement of the unit.
