How can you tell you have a blown head gasket on a 98 Chev Blazer?

You can pull the oil dip stick and check to see if antifreeze has entered oil it will be muddy looking. Engine may run rough or sluggish, excessive white smoke out of the exhaust. Engine may overheat. These are commen signs of a blown head gasket. Hope this helps.

I found a 98 jimmy for $1600 its got 175,000 miles tho any kind of on going problems with a 98 with this kind of mileage? cuz i got burned with a 98 blazer, had problems with everything from transfer case...

Its the same thing except it says GMC on the front. The most common issues with either of them is ABS problems, wheel bearings, ball joints, intake gaskets, plugged heater cores, injector issues, fuel pressure regulators, fuel pumps, catalytic converters, wiper motors, window motors, 4x4 issues, and the list goes on.

I have a 1997 Blazer in need of a new 4 wheel drive transmission. What year Blazer, Jimmy, GMC, S10, have compatiable transmissions for my vehicle?

All of the ones listed and 98 will work too. The transfer case comes off the end of the tranny and the tailshft housing comes off the two wheel drive tranny and the transfer case bolts right on, So all the two wheel drive trannys will work too. 97 and 98. Others will work too but you can't just plug them righ in as some of the sensers and switches are different. The junkyard that your dealing with if their any good will tell more that'll work than this and the changes that'll make even more trannys fit.

How do i change the window motor on a 93 gmc sonoma?

I have a 98 blazer. GMC and Blazer are somewhat similar. I had the same problem. If you take the armrest off the door, where the controls are there is a unit in there that basically can be plugged in or unplugged and replaced.

Sometimes the unit is good but the connect to it is bad. I had my replaced and it lasted for about 2 yrs before it started doing the same thing again. my won't go up or down depending on how the vehicle is leaning. I hope this helped.

Where is the oil drain on a 98 blazer 4.3L 4x4

It should be located right under to motor oil pan. It's probly a 15mm bolt. Just make sure that it's not the tranny oil drain. If for any reason when you see redish oil draining make sure to plug it right back up- red oil is transmission oil.
