How to turn change oil light

iI you mean 'how to turn change oil light off" go to fuse panel. Open drivers door there is a panel cover on the side of dash board, remove cover there is a red RESET button that resets oil pressure and tire pressure. Turn the ignition key to the on position but don't start the car. Now press and release the reset button the change oil light should start to flash, now press and hold the reset button until you hear chimming hold until chimming stops then release, the change oil light should go off. If you need to reset tire pressure press reset button twice, the first push will make the change oil light flash the second press will make the tire pressure light flash then hold untill chimming stops, light should go out . Hope this helps.

Car will not start lights and battery are good. Found freyed cable from battery (red)

i would first make sure the strater is getting voltage if its not you need to trace back and find out why that big red wire is probly the starter wire and if its freyed it neds replaced or a new end put on it. there is also another small wire connected to the starter you will need to put a meter on it and have someone turn the key to make sure the starter is also getting voltage signal fromthe ignition... ill check back in for replies leter on ...

1500 truck starter new flywheel new still makes a grinding noise also tried shimes still the same

You are moving the strater away from the flywheel when you put shims on it, this normally will make it worse. A clang will tel you its too close. When you got your starter shims did it come with a little piece of wire about the size in diamiter of a ink pen refill? if so that is the gauge for using the shims. You place it on the shaft of the starter, and it should just slide between the flywheel and the shaft. You may need to move the starter closer to the flywheel, this can be accomplished by only shiming the outside bolt on the starter- hope this helps.

Chim when driving

Is the door ajar light on? Or is the fasten seatbelts light on? If the door is ajar light is on try removing the switch from the door pillar (start with drivers side first because it will have the most wear). Sometimes there's a rubber cover you pull back and they're usually held on with one or two screws, unhook the wire connector and check if the light went out. If it did buy a new or used replacement switch.

1993 eagle medallion strater problems

Explain your meaning of:

won't turn over and start.
Can you hear the starter motor running but the engine is not physically cranking the engine as opposed to the engine actually starting up and running ?.

Or dose the starter just make a grinding noise and is not moving the engine ?
