Question about 1995 Buick Century
If this car has ABS (Anti-Lock Brakes) then the Anti-Lock brake sensor may be faulty. This will not impair your brake use, however in the event you need to "hit" your brakes, they may lock up.
I suggest taking the car to an auto parts dealer and having a diagnostics test performed. This is usually a free service, and only takes a few minutes to do.
Once complete, a list of code(s) will be displayed and they will be able to tell you what exactly is in need of replacement. It is also a good idea to check the brakes (front and back) to make sure they are not wearing thin.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Could have a red light meaning the brake fluid is low or the parking brake is low (low tension can cause this).
