Could be a blown head gasket. You may need another engine but a used engine installed should not cost more than the car is worth.

1988 4 cylinder will crank but not fire

with 126,000 mi if the timing belt has not been changed it is broken.
This is not an interference engine (the valves don't get bent when the belt fails) Fairly easy fix.

I have a 2002 escape and out of nowhere it starts to misfire,, had the code pulled p0303 #3 cylinder misfire,, what to do next?? /33 is in th back i looked it up and have to take the intake off,,...

I would replace the sparkplugs and wires first which is more than likely the problem. The only thing left is the injector after that. And i would not think that you would have to take the intake off just to change plugs.Try to get to them from under neath

Peugeot Expert Van Cambelt change

Most cam belts need to be changed every 60,000 miles. I would change again somewhere around 126,000.

I have a knocking sound from either lower end of engine or torque converter. The van has 126,000 miles and is a Ford 2005 E250.

sounds like rod bearings or a loose torque converter, check the bolts to the converter and also check the flex plate for cracks, that can cause a knock as well.

Maintanance light is on

The ticking sound is probably an out of adjustment valve. This can cause performance problems if it is severe enough. Go to www.georgebelton.com/6g.civic.tech/valve.clearance/index.php for step by step instructions w/ detailed photographs for this repair. The timing belt is one of those type of things that works 100% or not at all. At 126,000 miles I recommend having the belt(s) replaced. It is fairly inexpensive to have done and will extend the life of your vehicle 2 fold. If you belt fails it will probably destroy your motor so it is money well spent. Good Luck!!!
