Car is rattling and the engine is pulsating. It cuts off as if it's losing power. I just got a new alternator. It also over-heats real fast.

You need a new car. Sounds like there is no water in the radiator, and if it got hot enough to start rattling, the engine is probably toast.

My 2002 Mazda tribute ran hot. I found out my heater connection was broke. But when I replaced it. It still ran hot and now it taps real loud when the motor gets hot.

Need to discover why it is running hot to start with but not drive if it is causing the motor to get noisy. Overheating can be due to a thermostat stuck closed, cooling fan not turning on, low coolant level etc. Need to get to the bottom of the overheating before engine is damage badly.

My 1999 Chevy Malibu runs hot? It started when it overheated. We changed the thermostat, then water pump, then temp sensor gauge and the temp gauge goes high but only when the heater stops blowing hot...

Air pockets will make the guage do that, and also cause your heat to come and go. Also, a poor radiator, as in rotting, or plugged up, will cause high temperature issues.

Overheating real fast and I have already replaced the radiator

If your car is overheating extremely fast - the first thing to check is that your thermostat is opening. If it doesn't open then the car will overheat very quickly. When the thermostat opens water will be able to circulate through the radiator, and be cooled.

What causes dash say reduce engine power

You need to have fault scan to identify what sensor triggered light. Reduced Engine power is telling you that it's in LIMP mode.

Engine is getting hot

Obviously, check the coolant level first.
I'm sure you've already done that, so next would be to replace the thermostat. If the thermostat is sticking in the closed position, the engine will overheat.
It could also be that the radiator is getting plugged, in which case you'd either need a new radiator or you'd need to have the radiator professionally cleaned.
If it's "none of the above", it could be a damaged head gasket. Generally, if the head gasket goes it causes the coolant to blow out the overflow. Once the head gasket has failed the engine just won't hold coolant. If that's the case the only real option is to remove the head, have it machined to make it perfectly flat again, (overheating causes heads to warp slightly and a new head gasket won't seal properly) and reassemble.
Good luck. Hope it's a cheap fix for you.
