I need to replace the a/c controls in the dash. How do I remove the dash board/ Many Thanks David 2001 Chevy astro van

I'm not too familiar with your particular vehicle, but you will need to remove the section of dash with screws or popping it out,to get to the console hold
down screws. It might be a big job,or an easy one,
depending on if they are easily acessible. Good luck.

Tail lights not working on astro van

You got a loose connection, turn them on and start wiggling. I have seen connectors in fuse panels get a little loose, and actually distort the plastic from heat, so look for that also.

Looking for location of bcm on 97 astro van dash

The BCM is located immediately above the heater controls inside the dash on my 2004 Astro. I know it controls the headlights and locks but not gauges. Haynes says the gauge fuse supplies it power....but I'm not going to bank on that one.

How do I remove the dashboard from my 2000 Chevy Astro Van?

Paul is right you can go to radio shack or autozone schucks or any parts store and ask for the removal tool it cost $20.00 tops. Trust me you don't want to undo the dash as the air bag could detonate if you shorted the two wires that can control it and it could kill you.

1996 Chevy Astro van rear hatch release solenoid not responding.

you remove the handle in the center of the rear hatch. if you look closely you will see two small snap covers that hide two screws.once you do this you will see a small bar that is actuated by the solenoid from the switch. try the switch to see what way the smalll bar inside moves the use a screwdriver to complete the disconnection. hope this helps.
