Where is the IPR located on a 2001 f250 super duty 7.3


the IPR is located in rear, top, center of the engine in the High pressure oil pump. It can be identified by its gold color. It sticks out of the side of the pump pointing toward the driver side of the truck. It has a 2 wire plug that is held on by a metal clip.

The #8 cylinder is the rear most cylinder on the drivers side.

1-2-3-4 are on the passenger side

5-6-7-8 are on the drivers side.

Coolant leak at rear of 1999 F-250 Super duty engine...appears to be solid pipe leak at manifold height...unable to reach...how do you get to it?


you have to have 3 ft long extension with a swivel socket and get underneath truck and go along side and pver transmission

All the running lights work minus the rear tail lights but the brake lights work and the bulbs look good

Water in fuel system of a Ford F250 diesel engine.


there is an additive at most auto parts stores and even some gas stations, i forget the name but if you read the bottle it will say something about removing water from the fuel system, they are generally located next to the "octane booster" or "fuel system cleaners"
