How do I tell witch coilpack is #4 on a 4.8L v8 . n also where is the evpapertion silniod loction an what dose it look like . Its a 2000 sliverdo with 4.8L V 8

Number 4 is the 2nd one from the front on the passenger side. Are you looking for the evap vacuum solenoid or evap vent solenoid? If you are looking for the vent solenoid it is on the frame rail above the rear end. There is a service bulletin on this.

I need firing order for a 2000 range rover 4.0 ...I need to know how it goes from cylinder to coilpack..i already know the cylinders are 1357 (driver side) and( 2468) passenger side..and my coilpack leads...

It could be many things - but start with the obvious and check the plugs and coilpacks - also the connecting plugs. Try to get the fault codes read as this may point to the fault if it has recorded.

YOU HAVE NO SPARK WIRES YOU HAVE COILS ON PLUGS.YOU HAVE TO REMOVE COIL FIRST TO REMOVE SPARK PLUG.I WOULD CHECK SPARK PLUGS AND FUEL INJECTOR S+ SEALS IF YOU SMELL FUEL VAPORS.

2003 sliverdo 5.3 engine, wont start, turn over,


check fuel preasure may have bad pump, try pouring i little gas down throtle body, if it fires up then i would say pump is bad, good luck.

Starter loction


starter is located on the lower passenger side of the engine on the tranny side underneather. you may have to remove skid plate or protective panels if so equipped

Radio dose not work


According to your owners manual the Radio is Fuse #29 in he underhood Fuse/Power distreibution Box,

The power distribution box is
located in the engine compartment near the brake
master cylinder.
