SOURCE: in cabin air filter
its most likely located behind the glove box. which usually comes unhinged fairly easily from its open position stoppers. then there would be an access panel to remove to get to filter(s)

If you haven't figured it out yet, try the two links below. They have pics and diagrams. I haven't done this yet but, Nissan suggesting to have it done. (Sitting in the dealer having oil changed as we speak. They want $90 to replace the 2 filters.) I'm planning on doing it myself to save about $70. Doesn't look too difficult - just a little time. Parts are about $22 at local parts store. hope this helps. (Won't be back on this forum. So won't see any response you submit back).

SOURCE: replacement of cabin air filter
first remove the glove box. At the bottom of the glove box opening there is a plastic crossbeam that is there to keep things from twisting during manufacture. This crossbeam is no longer needed once the dash assembly is completely installed and must be removed to gain access to the cabin air filter. Cut the crossbeam at each end with a small hacksaw or diagonal cutting pliers and remove it. Behind it is the steel glovebox frame crossmember. It has screws at each end and can be removed easily. Once these two cross beams are out of the way, you can unlatch the filter cover--its vertical and has integral latching clips at top and bottom. Slide out the old filter. Replace with new. Reverse steps to put back to right.

1. Open glove box
2. Unhook elastic retainer on right side
3. Locate the two "stop tabs", one on the upper left and the other on the right side. Push both to the left to clear their stops and the glove box will swing down, allowing access to the filter cover.
