Question about 2003 Honda Civic
2003 honda civic trouble code p 1457 . is there a common fix for this ? I know it is a leak in the evap system , but as i dont have a smoke machine . is there a normal place that it leaks ?
This code (P1457) is not a leak code like a gas cap or gas tank leak, it is caused by a problem with a part of the Evap system called the "Evap Bypass Solenoid", there are Technical service bulletins about this code and the solenoid is the fix, this is a dealer part and when u buy it ask the parts person nicely for a printout showing of the location of the valve a picture is worth, well u know, It is connected to the Evaporative Emissions Canister, which is mounted on the passenger side of the gas tank just between the gas tank and the passenger side rear wheel
