Question about 2000 Buick Century
My wife was driving and pulled into a slite down hill parking space,with ;ight pressure on the brake pedal the car the raced and surged forward causing her apply the brake hard. this is the secondtime in 2 months that this happend.this is a new car to us,I know that the intake has been replaced and the transmission replaced in the last 3-4 months.no engine lights are on and of course when I drove the car did not happen.Any help would be appreciated as my wife is now scared to drive this car.
Try removing the floor mat.. sometimes the mat gets caught on the gas pedal and as you apply the brakes it applies the throttle. It would seem that the harder you press the faster the engine races...
