    yes i'm wandering where do you align the camshaft and the crank. where do the marks suppose to align.

Ignition timing is not adjustable on your car. are you talking about camshaft/timing belt adjustment?

    there are no timing marks on the camshafts. there is a special tool that after you remove the valve cover, slides into the grooves on the back of the cams to lock them in the correct position. also there is a special tool which is inserted on the side of the engine to properly align the crankshaft. I highly recomend you let a shop do this unless you are prepared to invest some money in the proper tools...

Sounds like you roached you timing belt. Of course the engine will not run until you replace the belt.

Belt Dimensions:
For the 2.0L In-Line 4-Cylinder Engine: 83.1 inches.
For the 2.5L V6: 71.5 inches.

Timing marks


Probably arent any as the timing is controlled by a crankshaft position sensor and is not adjustable.
