Throttle body type don't have one, to check fuel pressure on these type, has to be done at fuel filter, fuel filter gets remove and a adapter goes where the fuel filter fits, that adapter will have the valve to screw your fuel pressure hose gauge, hope this was very helpful.

Where is the fuel filter

On either end of the fuel filter you will see specially fabricated high pressure fuel line couplings. On these couplings you will notice two square blocks on opposing sides of each of the couplings. Press those squares either by hand or with a pair of long nose pliers. they should release. To refit just push the couplings over the filter tubes, they will automatically lock in place.

Battery is fine, so is altenator. Car bucks and then drives then completely dies. Guessing fuel pump, but at $132, want to make sure. What do you think ?

All tune up parts need to be cheaked first as the distrubutor rotor can do this as well and a clogged up fuel filter can do it too and if the cheak engine light is on then any of the reawons that it is on can do it too. That fuel pump sounds real cheap is it used? It goes in the tank and has an asscess door in the trunk under the back of the rear seat. Before you go changing the fuel pump I won't cheak the pressure or have it done as you change parts that don't fix your car when you do figure the part you need out your money might be too low to do the work.

First - Safety is always the key to working with fuel:
1) Remove from the area of work anything that could ignite the fuel, 'High intensity shop lights, no smoking'
2) Work with a flash light or directional battery operated light if its dark.

Two tools to have in my opinion -
1) Pliers
2) Needle nose

1st - use the pliers to spin/break the hose end loose over the In and out flang of the fuel filter.

2nd - If you have a needle nose pliers which have a very narrow nose end.
Place the nose end all the way at the hose end that's over the fuel filter's intake/output flange.
You then can leverage the hose off by forcing the body of the needle nose up against the body of the filter.
Just like a teeter totter where the body of the filter becomes the /\ fulcrum of the teeter totter.
Hope this makes sense?
