Question about 2006 Saturn ION
My 2006 Saturn Ion dies while I am driving down the road. After it has already died, the battery icon will light up and then the check engine light comes on. If I let it sit for a few minutes I can start it right back up and it will drive fine for a couple of days (the check engine light even turns off again) I took it to Auto Zone while the check engine light was on and after trying 2 different coders I was told that the coder wasn't even registering that it was hooked to an engine. Any ideas?

Probably something shorting out. This is something that probably isn't going to be easy to figure out. You need someone that can diagnose it in person

Hopefully it is only your fuel filter needing to be replace, or worse your fuel pump may need replacement. Check the fuel pressure on the fuel injector rail. You can use a tire pressure gauge, but wear eye protection, make sure the engine is off but ignition switch turned all the way toward start, and be careful you don't get sprayed.
