2002 Oldsmobile bravada electrical switching radio

2002 Oldsmobile bravada electrical is switching radio stations (CD, Tape) a/c (turning on and off) seat (adjusting) mirrors (adjusting) while drivingseems completely random!

    I thought maybe the button for driver 1 and 2 was malfunctioning could that be possible? And what is the body control module and is this something I can repair myself?

Body control module may be bad.

    The body control module is like a engine control computer but it controls all of the things you described. I would let an auto electric shop investigate what is wrong with your car, because they have the proper training and experience to diagnose and repair the problem without damaging other electronic components of your vehicle.

Had Battery replaced,car drives fine but the radio and locks do not work.

Some times the radio looses it preset or stored stations , and the locks r linked with the security built in alarm in the car computer .
needs resetting .

if stock radio. this is in the operators guide.
lost that.?

on most radios holding the button (say #1) for long time sets it.
some even beep when set.
but no all radios work the same. that is why get the manual works best.
in all cars, all radios made you can google by the radio partnumber or model. and bam, there is the guide.
some cars, have 4 radio options, so ..... that is not stated .

I have a 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada and the wipers will not turn on can you help me


1. check if the fuze is bad
2. If good check for voltage at the wiper motor
3. voltage good Bad motor
4. no voltage bad switch hope this helps

I would suspect the ignition switch in the column is the issue. NOT where you place the key but the electronic part behind the key. Hope this helps
