The truck wont start unless I wiggle the shifter, what is most likely to be the problem?

if its an automatic, then theres a good possibility that the neutral safty switch is bad or out of adjustment.

87 f150 dual tanks fuel gauge doesn't work how can I troubleshoot this with a multimeter; what voltages/ohms values are normal

I have a1987 F-150. The gas gauge for the rear tank always indicate that the tank is full when I know it is not. I try to put gas in but the tank won't let any gas in. Is there some type of sensors inside the tank that won't allow the tank to be filled or is this a guage problem?

If the battery is new.

If you jump start it but then it will not start after being run then the alternator could be your problem. Alternatively the ECU could be another problem.
