Had this problem in f150 econoline and was diagnosed as vacuum problem

Check your vacuum hose going to the canister in front passenger side next to water bottles most likely it pulled loose from the 2 way junction its plastic when you hit gas air stops blowing i know common problem for all cars remember the 2 hoses coming from the intake going past ac condenser towards front of motor fix the brake in line with a piece of 3/8 line to patch or push hose back into junction at bottle good luck!

Where is ac blower fan fuse and or relay on Ford f150 xlt triton?

Page 134 of my 98 owners manual shows relay 5 and fuse #5 on the cab fuse panel. also #24 is the blower relay. Also there is a 40 amp fuse #23 in the power distribution box under the hood.

Ford f150 xlt, blower fan won't blow ac into cab of truck can feel cold air when on highway. But fan not working. Help?


Check to see if the blower works with the heater on. Turn the control to heat and see if the fan works. First check the fuse for the blower. If the fuse is good and the blower does not work with heat on , the blower may be bad or the speed resistor maybe bad.

No air or heat is blowing out of my 1998 F-150. I need a GEM module also. could that be the cause of no air or heat.


no air ( AC ? ) or heat or the blower is not running ?

did you check the fuse for the blower motor ?

Is it the same on all speeds / If not is could be the blower motor resistor that controls the fan.

Why do you need a GEM ? Water issue ? If so that is usually a case of the blower motor will run without the key in the off position.

I have the blower fan relay for a 1998 ford econoline van. it is the one behind the battery. the old one burnt up and i need to know what wire goes where


a relay is simply a switch that switches a high current with a lower current draw it its simple on the relay there should be a diagram one of the burnt wires should be hot at all times and that is the current you will try to alternate when the relay activates when it does the current will go to the blower so you already have two the other two you just need a positive current that usually comes from the bw switch with the key on and the other one is a ground to interact with the ac positive leat and actuate the relay, here is a diagram of a relay just substitute where it says to lights and let it say to blower motor

1998 pontiac sunfire interior AC fan always on high.


This problem is caused by a burnt out fan speed dropping resistor, the resistor is near the blower fan on the air box.

check your blower resister by the blower and se if your getting power in and out of it,either its bad or the blower its self

you can go to auto zone and get a price of a motor and at the same time get a print out and location where your blower motor is
