You must check for continuity in the line from Fuse No. 18 in the Power Distribution Center, cable color orange.Down to the body control module Pin No. 18. In between you will find two conectors one black just on the bottom part of the Body Control Module, and another white connector. Check line between the fuse panel and the white connector that is located about 4 inches to the left of the BCM. Most surely that line is cut somewhere, maybe it is corroded in the connector terminal.

The original door lock won't fit the door you bought. This could be part of the problem as the locking mechanism is part of the security system and all wires and circuitry must be identical.

That's a tough one.

I wish you luck in fixing it.

Check battery connections and cables. Ground may be broken. Remove cables and clean battery posts then reconnect cables.
Check ignition switch, replace as needed.

When car is turned off and started later on the radio stations go to am. then the dash lights come on and the milege light starts blinking. then when the car is shut off it wont start again for a while

Its a Jeep. Sounds like a computer problem. Have you changed the battery lately? Has the vehicle been wrecked lately? Check to see if one or more of your body to chassis ground wires have come off. They should be the same size as the battery ground cable to the frame or engine. The (negative) lead from the battery should go to the engine block as well as to the frame. Then you should have install more grounds from some body fixtures to the frame. Jeep is known for not putting enough grounds on a vehicle. mike micmor68@gmail.com

The check engine light came on it seems to run fine the only other thing i noticed is the temp gauge runs up to 210 then comes back down,it only does that right after you start it then its fine

Check engine light can be any number of reasons, dirty air filter, need oil change, or more serious engine trouble. The temp gage issue is normal, this is the computer resetting itself. My car the fuel gage and temp gage do this...don't be alarmed. Take it to Advance Auto Parts and they can run a free engine diagnostics test on it to see which error code is tripping your check engine light.

Sounds like an electrical problem; look for loose, corroded or kinked/broken wires. The problem is most likely in the dash wiring/connections and seems to be pretty common in jeeps.
