Question about 1995 Ford Mustang

If motor does not run when the switch is pressed then check your fuses, the switch and the connector at the top motor to see if it is getting power. Remember the car should be in park with the emergency brake on. The key switch has to be in the run position. There are two release levers that need to be pulled out and they are located above both of the sun visors. Press the switch just to the left of the emergency break lever. If you can hear the motor running and the top still doesn't go down, check for the smell of hydraulic fluid in the trunk. It could leaking from the cylinders that pull the top down and push it up. If one or both will not hold pressure. Replace cylinders if bad.
