Try changing out thermastat it sounds like a coolant issue, when was the last time it was flushed, see when its hot and the A.C is on the engine is working more, and it sound like the collant needs to be replaced with the thermastat.

Sounds like the radiator is not moving enough air. Is the fins plugged with dirt or bugs?

Replaced compressor last summer on my daughters car, was very cold last summer but this year blows hot checked freon levels, but were fine any answers would be appreciated.

If the ac compressor is running and the line is cold, it could be a blend door under the dash that is not cutting off air flow thru the heater.

Engine overheating after 10 minutes. leaks small amounts of green coolant after parking. water pump replaced 2 years ago @ dealer. radiator replaced last summer @ dealer.

How many miles on your D, and what engine does it have? The service interval for the cooling system with its oem green coolant is every 3 years or 36K.

When was it last serviced? Where under the car does the green fluid appear when it leaks?

95 taurus stalls out only on hottest days. after sitting for 45 min. it starts and runs fine again. no signs of engine overheating, or any other symptoms of fuel pump going bad. did it last summer and now...

I would carefully examine the exhaust system relative to the fuel system. You want to make sure the fuel lines are nowhere, too close to the exhaust system. Sounds like you may be getting a vapor lock in the fuel line. Under the hood too, by the crossover pipe. Hope this is helpful.

Overheating and timing off

First of all, the overheating could have caused your engine to tighten up, which would account for the cams jumping a few teeth. Obviously being made from aluminium.
You should run coolant in the summer because it stops corrosion inside the cooling system.
When you redid the head gasket, did you have the head fly-cut or planed.
It should have been fly-cut.
It sounds like your head gasket has a leak between the water jacket and one of the cylinders.
This is causing the overheating.
That`s my best guess as I have had the same trouble with customers cars in the past.
Get a compression tester from an auto store and check pressures.
It screws into the spark plug holes
