Most manual transmissions will have 2 ports, the lower to drain and the upper to refill. Look for 2 metal plugs with square holes in them . Use a 3/8 inch ratchet or breaker bar to remove plugs. Fill until oil level reaches the level of the top hole.

Use more pressure, more elbow grease, put more force on it, use a bigger wrench or ratchet. Make sure its indeed the filler plug.

I have a 1993 sentra 1.6 auto trans that wont shift up out of 1rst gear it not sliping and the oil is not burnt or brown

since your car is matic, its good that you noted the color of the a/t oil. it means that the oil is still circulating. the problem may be with the solenoid switches for the gears, it could be that these switches are stuck up that the a/t oil pressure doesn't kick it in or they're burned out. try replacing the switches.

I have a 2001 Nissan Sentra. While driving on the freeway my car wouldn't shift past 45MPH. The Rpms would continue to rise but the vehicle would not shift gears. It is an automatic and doesn't have this...

check the a/t oil level. it may be that oil pressure is not enough to engage the other gears, means you havta add more oil. or the a/t oil may be too much that these switches (gear solenoids) are "drowning" causing then to not engage the gears

I need to refill my gearbox oil of my 1996 model nissan sentra

I assume its a standard transmission.
Should be a threaded plug on the top of trans , or 1/2 way up on the side.
If auto trans , add fluid through dipstick tube.
