If your engine light keeps showing and you fixed the problem, using a scan tool you can clear the codes and it will go away.

I have a 2004 3.9L Mustang with the "check engine soon" light on. I read the codes and 0300, 0301, 0305 and 0316 were up, while the car was still driving fine. Soon, it started to lose strenght, I bar

Best to read the codes first---code p0300 refers to random multiple cyl-- misfire detected causes-- spark plugs---HT leads--ignition coils--wiring.
code p0301 refers tocylinder 1-- misfire detected causes ---engine mechanical fault---wiring---ignition /fuel system ---injector---ECT/Maf sensor(Mass air flow) ECM.
code p0305 refers to cylinder 5 misfire detected causes ---same as 0301
code p0316 refers to misfire detected during start up -first 1000 rpms---causes--- engine mechanical fault---wiring----ignition/fuel system---injector. I would run a fuel system pressure pressure test as the common causes here is the fuel/injectors

My 2004 mustang gt service engine soon light started flashing for about a minute and went off also my car started

If your check engine light starts to flash that is telling you to shut it down so that you do not do any significant damage to the engine. I would recommend that you go to your local parts store or call a mobile tech out to read what codes are possibly stored in your cars computer and find out what is going on.

When I start my 94 mustang gt the service engine soon light flashes twice. The car rev higher than normal as well (around 1500 rpm) and idles rough to start. After I drive it for a bit in runs better. ...

sounds like you have a code in the computer that needs to be checked out which will send you in the direction to diagnoise the problem.you could have a couple problems.it could be a tps sensor, vacume leak, injector problem, etc.

Abs light and brake light are on. also service

You can test the wheel speed sensors by unhooking the connectors and put ohmeter test leads on the sensor terminals should read around 1100-1600 ohms also the connectors themselves were bad for wires breaking inside the insulation at the connectors from flexing when the wheel is turned back and forth..Note excessive wheel bearing noise from bad bearings have also been known for interferring with clean abs signal also causing abs codes good luck

If your check engine light is on you have a sensor problem. Some auto parts stores (like AutoZone) will troubleshoot the code free of charge. Chances are you'll only have to pay for the replacement of any engine sensor. It's as easy as changing a spark plug if you know what sensor is bad.

Running rough/service engine soon light

SOUNDS TO ME LIKE THE PCV VALVE MAY BE STUCK OPEN OR THE VACUUM LINE ON THE THROTTLE MAY BE SUCKING OIL INTO IT. PULL OFF THE AIR INDUCTION HOSE AND LOOK INSIDE THE THROTTLE BODY TO SEE IF THERE IS THE PRESENCE OF OIL.OPEN THE PLATE AND SPRAY GOOD CARB AND CHOKE SPRAY INSIDE WITH AN OLD TOOTHBRUSH TO CLEAN IT OUT. SOAK IT UP WITH A CLOTH RAG. WAIT A FEW MINUTES TO START CAUSE IT WILL HAVE TOO MUCH FUEL IN IT TO START. HOPE THIS HELPS. LET ME KNOW PLEASE. BEST OF LUCK.
