Question about 1998 GMC Sierra
At the bottom of the drivers side tank near the steering gear box.

Had a 98 Astro and it was on right side. Since it was plastic, it was hard to get a grip on it and I wound up destroying the outside of it. I had to remove the lower hose to drain. If you can't get to the plug, take the lower hose loose at the water pump. It might even be easier that way.
