I believe that it is housed in the fuel tank. They are usually accessable from inside the car and are attached to a panel that is just screwed or bolted down. There are also electrical leads that need to be disconnected.

Trying to locate fuel pump housing

The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. You have to empty the tank, loosen the starp holding the tank and then you can see the wire connecting to the fuel pump. Disconnect the wire before removing the fuel pump. Take extra caution as the fuel is flammable. Sometimes you have to completely remove the tank before you can remove the pump.

Wheres the fuel pump located

Hello rand1958: My name is Roger and I will help. The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. You can access the pump by removing the rear seat cushion. Remove the 4 screws in the floor cover. unplug the fuel pump wire harness. Remove the fuel line locks. BE CAREFUL as fuel lines may be under pressure. Remove pump lock ring to remove the fuel pump. I would also recommend replacing the fuel filter at the same time. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer as this way I know it was helpful. Thank You for using Fix Ya. LOOKING FOR THE FUEL PUMP TO REPLACE

The fuel pump is located on top and inside the fuel tank. Unless there is an access panel inside the vehicle above the fuel pump location you will have to remove the fuel tank in order to gain access to the pump. Remove as much fuel as possible from the fuel tank before trying to remove it. A small inexpensive hand pump is the best way.
