Right side on the lower part of the engine well hidden
You will have to look between the wheel and the firewall for it

Alternator belt tension is adjusted on these engines by means of a tension adjusting bolt.
On some vehicles it is easier to access a component from underneath the truck
Loosen the alternator pivot bolt with a box wrench or a ratchet and socket
Use the adjusting bolt to vary tension on the belt
