HI. The Trac light(traction control module fault) and the engine light are very serious indicators that are signaling that there is an issue that concerns the state of the monitoring sensors mounted on your block and power train assembly, as well. Apparently, these issues are not mechanical but electrical in nature, due to the fact that, this vehicle is able to be driven with no obvious limitations what so ever. With that said; I would recommend to have a diagnostic scan ran on the PCM. This will provide a more in-depth inquiry into what is actually failing within the monitoring sensor assembly on this vehicle. The scan will isolate the faults and direct you to the actual part that will need to be replaced. This can only be done with the assistance of a diagnostic scan device. This can be administered at your local dealership, or at your local auto zone parts store, as well. Once you have had the codes extracted, post them here for further analysis.

Additionally; The repair shouldn't be very expensive, due to the fact that, this vehicle is functional and driving with no symptoms. You stated that "the car drive good". This is a good signal and confirms that the issues are not that severe. Have the scan ran, asap.

Problems with 07 tundra, engine light on, won't turn over completely without pumping gas pedal. Told it needs timing chain replaced

Timing chain controls the valve timing and causes running issues. It sounds like the chain and or chain guides are bad and you should NOT drive it that way as you can cause much more damage. Get it fixed and you should be fine. If it is a high mile car have them do a complete inspection of the vehicle before you spend any more money so you know if there are more issues.

Service engine, abs, trac off

The service engine light does not affect the abs.You most likely have a broken wire in your abs system which is affected by suspension movement.A code reader which does abs codes will tell you which wheel circuit is turning on the abs light. When there is no abs available the track will turn off.

Lately, while I'm driving my "Trac Off" light

well those are odd symptoms to have together but normally the traction light if coming on when it shouldnt is related to faulty wheel speed sensors but i never seen it make the car dye sounds like you have more than one problem at the same time, check for DTCs or codes first!

Check engine light and vsc trac off lights stay on. Cannot turn svc off by pressing button on Dash

Hi, have you scanned the vehicle to see why your check engine light is on? IF no, you need to. Toyota/Lexus computer system illumniates both engine light and VSC lights whenver a fault occurs in either unit. VSC or stability control is like trac-control or ABS braking system. Get car scanned and make sure all computers are scanned for additional codes, repair them first reset lights and test drive. ON a side note, fixing check engine light will usually take VSC light away also, however sometimes the VSC system will glitch out and a Steering Angle relearn is necessary, it takes about 3mins to perform and a good quality scan tool with 2004 current software. Good Luck.

Shuts off a few time while driving

I recommend taking the vehicle to a shop that does scope testing aka oscilloscope testing. This way they can pinpoint the problem and do the repair without the guess work.Saves you time and money.

VSC TRAC, TRAC OFF and CHECk ENGINE lights

You have to know what code is stored to fix the problem. Toyota's will generally display a Check Engine light, VSC and TRAC light all at the same time, even if it's a simple problem with an oxygen sensor (for example). You can disconnect the negative battery cable for a few minutes, even though you should a scan tool should be used, to clear out the code.

02 Jetta 2.0 Check Engine Light

Hi, only way to really know what the check engine light is for is to run a diagnostic check on the pcm using a OBD II diagnostics tool, you can buy one at most auto parts store's or if you don't want to spend the money on one some auto parts store's will do a diagnostics check on your vehicle for free, good luck.
