Thank you so much for your diagnosis... do you have an idea of what this should cost to fix it? Part and labor? I just want to make sure I don't get ripped off.

well the sensor shouldnt be more than around the 20euro mark ,fitting it takes a matter of minutes ,the sensor should be fitted in or around the cylinder head area .if my memory serves me right its at the front of the head but i repair so many different makes of vehicles i cannot remember and my alldata books are on a van coming over from the UK

First i would check the crank sensor by looking for rpm's on the tachometer or scan tool if you see any rpm's then crank sensor is good. Then check for leaking injectors and if they are not leaking then you will need to check the ECM it may have failed.

89 K5 Blazer 350 TBI cranks but won't start... the rad hose blew, i fixed it then the next day it bogged and backfired, ran fine cold, but when warmed up it would lose power and stall when trying

Have you checked Google I found this hopefully it's not your timing or it may be flooded but doubtful have you tried spraying starting fluid into the intake while cranking it

Have a '94 S-10 Blazer Tahoe 4X4 and it starts

My suspicion is a starter going bad. Sometimes when starters get old and worn they will start good when the engine is cold but not when the engine is warmed up. Did you perhaps notice that lately is seemed to drag when you tried starting, especially warm or it seemed to crank a little slower? I'd replace the starter. Hope this helps.

When it is below frezzing my Isuzu makes a clicking sound instead of starkting but in warm weather it starts all the time ?

more then likely the battery is going bad. in cold weather it takes a good (cca) cold cranking amps, battery to turn engine over. but in warm weather the engine is not as cold and therefore needs less cranking amps. thats why you hear clicking when trying to start car in cold. it is the solinoid clicking and not enough power for starter to turn it over.

The colt won,t start when cold if it is plugged in for a half hour or more it starts fine.We have changed the two temperature sensors and checked the fuel pressure

ON A 92 MODEL CAR IT DOESN'T HAVE A CHOKE SO YOU ARE GOING THE RIGHT WAY BY LOOKING AT THE TEMP SENSOR. THE CHOKE ON A FUEL INJECTION MOTOR WORK THROUGH FUEL TRIMS. IN OTHER WORDS MORE FUEL THEN AIR THAT WOULD BE A RICH CONDITION THATS CHOKING THE CAR. SO IF YOU HAVE CHANGED THE TEMP SENSOR TO THE COMPUTER YOU MUST CHECK TO SEE IF IT IS WORKING RIGHT, TO DO THAT PLUG A COMPUTER IN AND READ DATA,IT SHOULD READ AT COLD START UP OUTSIDE TEMP.ONE MORE THING MAKE SURE THE VOLTAGE IS GOOD ON VEH BECAUSE IT TAKES LESS VOLTAGE WARM THEN COLD.AND IT WILL TURN OVER FASTER WARM. IF SO REPLACE THE BATTERY TO A HIGHER COLD CRANKING AMP BATTERY. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU TIM

2003 toyota avensis diesal . dificult starting from initial start

I am assuming this a cold weather only issue ?? Turn your key to on before cranking it over for about 5 sec to let the glow plug heat up a moment. Not allowing the glow plug to warm will wear out your starter.
