My front air is working fine on my 06 Mercury Monterey, but the back won't even put out air. This is recent

If the vehicle has front and rear heating/ac and there is no air blowing from the rear, you have a heater motor issue. Possible fuse/relay/resistor or wiring issue. Diagnostics will have to be performed to isolate the problem

1999 Oldsmobile slihouette heat doesn't get hot in the front

your heater core is not circulating..this could be because you have air trapped in your coolant system or your heater switch is not opening the valve to allow flow through your core. the front core is located higher than the its hard to purge any air that gets trapped in it. personally...I installed a purge valve so I can expel any air from the higher parts of the cooling system....because I also had the same problem with my 2000 premier. but first try to purge your system of any air pockets by turning on your on high......let the vehicle warm up....add some distilled water or dexcool to your coolant tank.....rev engine to 2500rpm for a brief moment.....let idle for a moment and repeat 5 or six times....make sure to turn on the rear heater too at full fan when you do this. if this doesn't up on your vehicle by means of chilton or other published repair manuals ...then check the engine heater switch for proper vacuum and electrical supply when your console control is on for heat (heater switches on the engine - located over each of the valve covers-one for front-one for back-with metallic tubing into side and out of bottom) careful...the heater switch on the engine will be very hot!! check relay in fuse box...check fuse in fuse box....check switch and vacuum supply to console control unit.....good luck and be careful....

Ac fuse keeps blowing

An OBD-II reader will give you the error fault code to direct you to the cause of the problem. Your owner's manual contains the fuse diagram and explains the circuits they control.
The check engine light alerts you to the fact that the on-board computer system is reporting a diagnostic trouble code; giving the vehicle owner or repair technician the status of the various vehicle sub-systems, when it is accessed.

The front heater/air conditioner blower stopped

First check the voltage at the front blower moter. If it has voltage then it may just need a new motor.

Pop the hood, start the vehicle and turn the AC on. Watch the compressor, it should have a center that rotates on an off and you should hear a clicking sound. This is the compressor clutch you are looking at. If the compressor is not doing this, check the fuses for the AC. If the fuses are good, then most likely the high side sensor switch is not working, therefore the clutch never engages and the air never gets cold.

Try that and get back to me, ok?

Heat lack of

9 times out of 10 on this old of vehicle its the heater core. If your car temp gauge is working and the car is heating up fine and the blower works then it is most likely your heater core. Not sure how hard it is on that car. SOme times it just under the dash takes about 30 mins but some cars you have to pull the dash out. The part alone is cheap. I would try logging onto put in your car find the part (heater core) then look at the how to change section of auto zone.

Front Air Conditioner Won't blow

Sounds like a blower resistor... you will have to take it to a repair shop. Isuzu is dumping its passenger vehicles entirely in 2009, and the Ascenders are basically GMC Envoy SUVs, though GMC will not honor any repair work on the rebranded Isuzus.

Best bet is to trade it in on a Toyota Highlander or Sequoia amd save yourself future headaches...

Fuse blows when air conditioner is turned on

there is a loose ground and or wrong size fuses for the air
if loose ground you will want to have a certified mechanic trace the grounds back to source
i dont think it could be relay but there is a way to check this
find the relay panel in the engine compartment open it
find the relay that says air conditioning
pull it out
now there are numbers on that relay
in that same relay box theres relays about 6 to 8 of them that look similar to the air conditioning relay
this is where the numbers come in if the numbers match switch with other relays
mark the air conditioning relay with black marker or nail polish so you know which relay is which
if its the relay thats bad the new relay from the relay box put in its place will work fine
put the old one back in the slot where you took out the other relay out of and then proceed to dealer to purchase new relay for your vehicle if the relay was the problem
