follow the spark plug cables.. one end is the coil pack... the other end is the spark plugs if you still can't find them... that's not a diesel by chance is it ?

Drain plug should be on the drivers side of the radiator, lower back (towards the engine) When placing the drain plug on place use some oil on the O ring to ensure a good seal when tightening it back in place. Good luck and keep me posted.

There are 4 Spark plugs in the front, and 4 spark plugs in the back. If you really look into the back, you will find them.

The textbook method is to remove the drain plug on the bottom of the radiator.
Most drain plug is make of inexpensive nylon/plastic and it may fall apart while you turn it.
The professional method is to loosen the lower radiator clamp and drop to lower radiator hose.
Drain the coolant onto a large drain pan and recycle the coolant
I just did a FREE write up on air purge from coolant system and how to detect initial state of blown head gasket at the Fixya tip selection.

sounds like it could be one of the head gaskets. does coolant belch out if you hit the gas pedel like if you were going to pass someone on the hiway. if it does, exhaust gases are presurizing the cooling system beyond the max. presure of the cap...

Tips for a great answer:
Stand in front of the car, open the hood, and face the engine.Where is the lower radiator hose 99
On the left hand side of the radiator, at the top, is the upper radiator hose; which goes to the upper water pump connection.
On the right hand side of the radiator, from the bottom, is the lower radiator hose; which goes to the lower water pump connection.
