Question about GMC Jimmy
The ABS sensors needs to be checked.As you mentioned that ABS light is not coming ON.This indicates the problem with ABS sensors.
A wheel speed sensor going bad .These sensors are located in the hub bearings in the front. You have sensors in the rear as well.Check both.
They this:-- check the cables and if you cant find a bad place in the cable you can unplug the sensor on the fenderwell and use a voltmeter on A/C voltage use a wire to insert in the plug and put the leads on the wires, turn the wheel by hand and watch the meter you will find one will be a lower reading or not reading at all, the lowest reading you will need to replace.or the other possibility can be
rust had built up under the front abs sensor which causes sensor errors. IF the sensors checked out OK then its very much possible that the problem is with the brakes.Get it checked. Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.
