You need to fix the coolant leak, then refill and bleed cooling system, then you will get heat and cure overheating problem too

2002 Buick Rendezvous no heat and over heated after warming it up for over 30 minutes.

Have a pressure test done on your cooling system, you sound like you could have a leak in your system or your system just needs to have the air bled from it. Check your coolant level also, with air in the system and not enough coolant it will blow cold and cause overheating.

My nissan primera 2000 1.6 is overheating and only blowing cold air

You have to have the overheating issue diagnosed

You don't continue to drive any vehicle that overheats
or you will ruin the engine

The Air Conditioner won't come on if the engine overheats,
the computer will keep it off, to keep down the load on the
engine & thus more heat load

Are the cooling fans coming on?
Coolant at the correct level in overflow bottle?
When cold you also have to remove the radiator
or system fill cap to check the coolant there also.

If you have white smoke coming out the exhaust
you may have a bad head gasket

You could have a worn timing belt & it jumped a
couple teeth, that is part of your preventative maintenance,
you should know when things were done & have a log book

I Have a 2003 Yukon denali & I dont get no heat i change the thermostat & antifreeze but no heat

1) Check your water pump is working OK and
2) You may have an airlock in the system. Take the expansion or header tank cap off, set your heater control for hot and exterior air. Start the car and run it till warm. With luck you'll run any air locks out of the system. While warming up, and being very, very careful, try squeezing the main radiator in and out tubes (The fattest) this may also move any air locks on. BUT BE CAREFUL, STAY AWAY FROM AND FANS AND PULLEYS. IF NOT SURE, DON'T DO IT OR STOP THE ENGINE FIRST.

With luck, you should soon start to feel warm air coming from the vents.

Dodge 2002 Grand Caravan V6 3.3 engine overheating/no cabin heat.

Replace the bad radiator hose first.  Second- get you special formulated anti-freeze dye from the auto store and pour it into the radiator.  Third- make sure you got all the air pockets out of your system, cause the coolant system won't work with air pockets in it.  Fourth- Check for leaks by looking for the colored dye.  If it's not the radiator hose, then could possibly be a pin hole in your radiator.  Would suggest replacing all the radiator hoses at the same time while you got the coolant system disconnected, cause you don't want to have to come back and replace another hose in a few months.

99 grand am gt overheating changed thermostat and

try priming the engine block & radiator with water though the hose's & any hose you can squeeze to pump out the air lock with the filler cap off when running, sounds too much air is is in the system & the pump won't work dry.
I had this problem a few times & I ended up practically forcing water into any hose I could re-attach quickly using a garden hose, as the heating system need's priming too !

2002 pt cruiser overheating was told i need a new raditor and thermostat for 1 grand sounds fishy

Flush rad & change coolant & thermostat. Check operation of rad fan, & make sure it is coming on when engine reaches normal operating temperature. Be sure to bleed air out good when refilling rad/cooling system. Start engine & turn heater on when refilling & let rad fan come on & off at least 2 or 3 times before putting cap back on rad, and refill rad as needed as you do this. then fill return bottle to proper level & see what happens.
