Question about 1995 Ford Ranger Supercab
95 ford Ranger Splash 3.0L I was driving the truck went over some railroad tracks (nothing to bumpy)and suddenly the truck just died. The engine cranks, but does not fire ? I pulled a spark plug wire pushed in a screw driver and checked for spark but I don't believe there was any ?
On passenger side, inside of cab there is a fuel inertia switch mounted on the firewall by where feet go. There is a button underneath, push it. This will reset switch. Truck should get fuel now and start. These switches get weak and if passenger kicks it truck will shut down. Will still turn over but not start.
