Why OD light Flashing , not engaging transmission, loss of power?

Not quite sure. I would have some one read the computer memory to get a code number. Has the trany fluid and filter been replaced? The code number stored in memory will give you a better result to repair the cause. Does the trany shift up and down by itself normaly? What mialage is on car? Check the rpm guage to see when the trany shifts gears in normal driving. Hope this helps. Best I can do now.

I need instructions on replacing the clutch in a '94 Chevy Blazer 4x4, 350 engine. Specifically the pilot bearing, throwout bearing.

The pilot bearing is pressed into the flywheel and you need a pilot bearing/bushing puller. Some A/P stores will rent it to you for free (deposit). the throwout bearing is held onto the clutch fork normally by clips. Sometimes you have to take the "fork" out to get the bearing off.

Make sure to note how "deep' the pilot bearing/bushing is so that when you install the new one it is set at the right depth.

Can a 2006 automatic transmission be lined up and fit on a 2001 hyundai elantra gls?

These cars use the same trany the F4A42, its the same trany in 2001 and 2006, this trany should bolt right up its the same trany you should not have any problem, hopefully the electronics are still the same inside the trany if not you may need the computer, just look at the connection on the trany thry should be the same. good luck and hope this helps.

All of a sudden gushing tranny fluid from under radiator in front of car?

This sounds like a trany hose may have brust or the metal part of line broke or rusted, there are two lines from the trany to radiator, these lines carry trany oil from trany to radiator inside radiator is a small copper tank, the oil flows through the tank to cool trany oil, clean area best you can then start engine and watch for leak lines can be replaced,

Is there an transmition upgrade for the explorer? I just bought the 98 explorer from a frind he bought it new it has 304,000 miles and has had 3 tranys and I would like to pull a small trailer but I...

You can certainly install a Transmission cooler and if your going to be pulling a trailer I highly recommend it. There might be a heavy duty transmission you can get for the vehicle but only ford would be able to tell you the part number. Once you get the part number you could most likely find one at a junk yard cheaper than at the dealer.

2008 ford ranger 5 speed manuel transmission, ford has no replacement blocker ring for the trany. Further it has no part number in ford manual

Ford does not have a code number for the broken part, we are checking transmisson number to see when first manufactured. Further Mazda B-series trucks on 3000 use the same motor and transmission, will be checking there info. It seems at this moment this part has not been produced, a part was sent up from Ford , but with think it is automatic trany blocker ring, not manual. Apparently Ford has never replaced this part on a manual trany.. We have a picture of the inside of the tranmission and all the parts, but 4 have manufacture numbers are missing. This is very difficult. The truck is on warranty, so it is a Ford problem.

I need the number of quarts of automatic transmission fluid needed for a fluid and filter change

it holds 5 qts, also it uses a certain type of fluid, if it has a 4.0 L it uses puls 3 type fluid, if it has the 4.7 engine then it uses plus 4 type trany fluid, it does it matter on the amount , both engines use the same amount of trany fluid which again is 5 qts, hope this helps and good luck.
