SOURCE: Windows in 1993 Explorer, motor runs but windows don't go up or D

The gears in the motors are stripped. You will need gear kits that you can purchase at a local auto parts store. Good luck.

SOURCE: Ford explorer 2002 front passenger window

You don't repair the cable. It is part of what is called the widow regulator. Call your parts store and check the prices. It will vary so call around. Some times you can order it without the motor, but often the cost with and without is not much different and it is better to get it as one unit.

Hope this helps.

1993 Ford Explorer heats but when driving drops right down

you live in a cold place-the thermostat you replaced may not be good-try another one-or put card board in front of grille, not against radiator that could cause overheating- cheers Denny

Gear grinding noise when brakes are applied

I'm guessing you DID resurface the rotors or replaced them? On the bearing make sure it is not overtightened. With the car lifted can you turn by hand and listen?
Not positive about brakes I've always understood they bleed like regular brakes but I would consult a repair manual or dealer (just ask service advisor) Good luck!

Check the window regulator for broken or damaged guides. Check the window track for interference.

1993 Ford Explorer electric window does not work

The drive gear on the motor may be stripped of the teeth, you will have to remove the electric motor and mechanism for the window to have a closer look for the problem.
If the window moves down after removing the motor etc the prob is definately in the winder mechanism

1993 ford explorer - toublshooting fuse/electical problem

I believe the fuse for your starter is in the power distribution box, 93 explorer 4.0L 4X4. find diagram for this in Chilton Ford Ranger/Explorer/Mountaineer 1991-1999 Repair Manual 26688 page 6-43 Fig.88 Be aware that there are (4) figures for the 93 4.0L explorer and each shows a different part of the same engine wiring. See top right 'power distribution box' follow lines to the part of your engine you are concerned with, which fuse number, then look inside your engine, passenger fender, push down on the protective ?wall then pull the cover up, see your diagram and fuse numbers. The diagram for inside fuse box, page 6-31 fig.63 I hope this helps
