Question about 2000 Dodge Neon
Washed the car last week and cleaned the tires and wheel covers and ever since the right rear brake is locked. Not sure if it's the emergency or pedal that's got it locked. The car is immovable. Any thoughts on clearing this issue?
You may have thrown a brake shoe, remove the tire, pop off the grease cap and remove the nylon nut. Then remove the brake drum, the wheel hub will come off with the brake drum. If brake shoes seems to be fine, check the wheel hub bearing. I can't recall, but I think it takes a 32mm socket to remove the nylon hub nut. You will need to replace the hub nut with a new one when you reassemble, good luck, Gary

Hi! Just a thought on this and may be the problem... The brake light switch is grounded or stuck thats for sure. Since the car wont move, its gotta be a battery failure. Try recharging the battery and see how it goes. Lets consider the battery first before going to the technicality repairs. Hope this helps and have a good one!
