Have you checked the fuel filter,it may be slightly shoked so allows for light thottle but not enough for full thottle, {we had a 405 ,towing a caravan,only power for 1st gear,very embarising.}

Custom. Where is throttle pedal sensor located?

Hi Prentice, Im AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair.

Prentice, the Throttle Pedal Sensor is located in the gas pedal that your foot is on. If you will notice there is an electrical connector on the pedal assembly. That's the sensor. If it doesn't have an electrical pedal then it's mounted on the throttle body. Hope this helps and please visit my auto-repair-website at: http://www.bigasautorepair.com/

You need to take it to a Porsche dealer to have the computer software updated. The sooner, the better! Until then, turn off your PSM (Porsche Stability Management), to see if that helps.

Hi Jacques, The idea of having On board diagnostics is to save you from guessing where the problem is. Have the diagnostic scan carried out before doing any other work, thereby avoiding un required work. As rats have been at the wiring, I'll take a guess and assume they have also been at the vacuum hoses and tubes. Check all for damage, breakage and loose fitting. Also check the ducting between the air flow sensor and the throttle body. If you find any damage replace them. Remove the air cold start bypass up idle valve and clean it. Make sure that the computer temperature sender unit is working correctly and then attend to the scan results. Regards John

your kickdown lever/cable is starting to sieze. lubracate the kickdown cable, then inspect the kickdown linkage as it could be a broken cable clip.
