There are 2 screws located behind the rear wheel on both side. (Phillips screws)
There are also 2 screws located under the rear door.
And the bottom of the bumper is held on using push in plastic clips. Unless you want to purchase new clips I would suggest purchasing a door clip removal tool.
Once the screws and the 4 clips are removed from under the cover it will slide outwards from the rear.
Thanks, Dorrian

How do I replace or tighten rear bumper on a 2004 Volvo s40 I don't see any bolts?

I see from pictures you have a plastic bumper.
These are held in place mostly with plastic clips that are fastened inside the fender where you cannot see them.
You will need to put the car up in the air to see what to do next.
Volvo dealers sell the clips, as so do a few car parts stores.
Those plastic bumpers are very poorly secured, and fall off easily on all cars.
You may also find ripped or torn plastic holes which is why it is falling off.
If you wish to fix it yourself, you may need to do some really "creative" work underneath the car.
God bless your efforts.

Removing rear bumper cover for 2007 uplander

Lift the tail gate. There are clips or screws along the top edge. Remove this. The clips all you do is pull the center pin with a panel tool or pliers then the rest will come out. Then you will need to remove the clips holding the rear side of each of the back wheel wells in. Under that will be more clips, screws or bolts that hold the side edges of the bumper cover on.

I want to remove the composite rear bumper from my 2004 nissan

Push clips, or used to refer to them as christmas tree clips. Try getting a pair of side cutters under it but don't squeeze too much on handle or you'll cut the head off, but if you do, any parts store has more. Then pry up & out with side cutters. Parts stores also have a tool specifically for them, shaped like a fork with 2 prongs.

Rear Bumper

It is pretty simple once you get started. First you will have to remove the beauty cover in most cases. The plastic cover that conceals the true bumper on most modern vehicles. Get under the rear bumper,if you jack the car up always be sure to use jack stands for safety reasons. There are clips that you can unfasten usually using a flat head screwdriver. Remove these gently and save them. They can be damaged very easily and can be expensive. Sometimes these can also be held on with aluminum screws and with plastic phillips head screws. After the cover is off you will see the bumper itself and by getting under the bumper you will see where it is attached to the frame. Unbolt the bumper from one side to the other and save all parts. Also some vehicles have light fixtures in the bumper - you will need to disconnect these as well and save every part. If it gets complicated make some type of system to keep organized. There is nothing worse than having parts left over! When you get to the last few bolts the bumper will start to hang and I recommend you have someone help hold it up until all bolts are removed. You don't want it to fall on you of course. After it is removed get your replacement ready to install and just do everything in reverse. Be careful in the last steps with any clips you use because this will make the difference between a "professional look" and just so-so. Make sure you have all tools handy - have plenty of room and plenty of time to do the job - take your time and you should be successful and save a ton of money. Good Luck!!!

Rear bumper on mazda mpv

Removal of the rear bumper on an Mazda 2004 to 2006 MPV.
It's afairly simple task: 1) Open the rear hatch or (door) remove the torx screws at the bottom of the weather strip. 2) Remove both tail lights by unscrewing the two phillip screws on each light, once removed the lights pulling toward the side of the van. Let them hang from the wires. You will see a clip (white in color),pry it out from behind the bumper material and go to the next step. 3) Remove three 8mm head screws in each fender well and three plastic clips. Then remove an 8mm screw at the top corner of the bumper against the rear fender. If your car has splash guards remove them as well. 4) Remove the two clips at the bottom of the bumper attached to the under carriage. 5) Pull the bumper toward the back of the vehicle be careful with the tail lights. Remember, they are hanging loose.
And that's it, you have done it.

2002 Ford F-150 drivers rear view mirror

The door pane is held on for the most part by plastic christmas tree shaped clips all along the door's edge, a plastic putty knife works ok to release them but there is a special tool, there are about 10 of then and they can be a bugger to release the first time. Be very careful not to damage the door panel they are very expensive.
