SOURCE: horn won't stop blowing

If you can locate and pull relay, do that, if not, pull wires off at horn if you can, otherwise pull fuse. If you have other relays same in area of horn relay (same number on relay) try one of them in that horn spot to see if maybe it's just a stuck relay. If you pull fuse for horn, you may find out something else on same fuse, so make sure you check everything else is working.

Horn won't stop blowing

If horn stops with fuse removed, the problem is in the steeringf wheel. If horn continues to sound with fuse removed, the problem is a defective horn relay (located in fuse panel under hood).

Horn wont stop cant locate fuse

The fuse block is located below the dash and mounted to the fire wall. This area is where the brake pedel is located. If you still can't locate the fuse, open the hood and the horn is located behind the grill. Remove the wire from the horn. To fix the problem correctly it's possible that the horn relay is stuck closed which is why the horn blows. A wiring diagram will show the location of the relay. Most relays snap into the holder.

Horn won't stop blow'n

Two things could have happened to cause this. The horn switch in the steering wheel horn pad is stuck or the relay has failed. To stop the horn from blowing remove the horn relay. Usually in a fuse box under the hood square shaped. You can some times pull the horn fuse and this may stop it also. The owners manual should have these component locations. Thanks for asking at Fixya.com.

My horn stopped working on my 1998 Explorer. Is there two fuses box

There is One under hood and one under dash.Check owners manual under fuses. If fuse is ok it could be horn relay or horn itself bad.If you disconect horn and put a test lamp on horn wire, have someone blow the horn if test lamp. lights up ,horn is bad

Constant horn blowing

Very possibly the horn relay. This is located in the left junction block ( fuse panel) on the left side of dash. Open driver door and you will see a panel cover on the end of dash. On the cover it should list the position of the relay which I believe is on the right of fuse panel. If you try the horn and it sticks on again, try tapping the relay, if stops then that is the problem.
