I am having a problem with my 2003 Range Rover shift in low speed. If I slow down to 5 to 15 mph then try to speed up I get a really hard **** into gear. I find that this problem is not as bad when i drive in manual mode instead of standard. It drives fine when driving at faster speeds.

Hi! The differential replacement has nothing to do with this so you can stop worrying. The problem will be on the transmissions torque converter. The torque converter controls the shifting of the transmission whether on uphill or downhill. Once replaced, a smooth ride and shifting will be noticeable. Hope this helps and have a good one!

Can you clarify what you mean by "having problems?" What problem? just doesn't have any oomph? Makes a noise? Shudders? Why did you have the front differential replaced? That is an odd requirement...

Say you come to a yield sign and you need to slow down but you don't stop fully, when you push on the gas to take off it delays and some times **** before allowing you to speed up. I don't seem to have this problem as often when I drive it in manual mode instead of standard.

The differential was only replaced as the dealer said it was under repair and that I should change it. Did not have any problems before it was replaced. Vehicle runs fine at speeds over twenty miles per hour.

If the engine races when you let the clutch out your down shifting too soon, you will need to slow down more. If you haven't even released the clutch and it is doing this you need to have the transmission worked on.

My honda accord 94 jerks when i take off slow

there are many possible problems here. one of them is the throttle position sensor. it is nothing more than a volume switch on a cheap radio. it moves voltage from 0 to 5 v and tells the computer what you want the engine to do. When they fail usually one part of the range quits working which would produce the effect you described As i said this is just one of the possible problems but one you should rule out. Checking it is done by locating the sensor and checking output with a volt meter. maybe go to local autoparts store and read why check engine light is on It should tell you which sensor is bad if that is the problem

2004 Land Rover Discovery that I cannot get into low range

Unfortunately, the Low/High Range selector linkage on these vehicles freezes up very easy if not used regularly. If you had tried everything else, including trying to shift at a very slow speed, the only answer is usually to take apart the selector linkage, grease it and replace the bushings. This is quite an involved job and takes the better part of a day.

2003 Expedition jerking/cutting out.

Had same problem: cutting out at low rpm, jerking, a huge clunk or shudder at higher speed (like transmission was going out), and rough idle. All these symptoms were intermittent.

CHECK THE FUEL FILTER!! Changed the fuel filter and thing runs fine!!

PS mine 2003 expedition has 105k
