Try taking out the spark plugs put motor oil in all cylinders and let it sit for a day or 2 fully charge the batterry for the 2 days on (2 amp if possible) try it again a few times if it still won't free up use a socket on a breaker bar on the harmonic balancer bolt and try to turn it manually...Good Luck

did you use normal coolant or a glycerol based anti freeze, this prevents your coolant from freezing in sub zero temperatures, the other big thing is the viscosity of the oil, that means how thick the oil is at different tempratures, colder ambient temprature lower the number, etc.

It is on the firewall I think. Here is a picture of it, it has a large 7/32" vacuum hose going to it.

1987 crown victoria ltd wont start when driven for about 15 minutes i have to white about 10 minutes for it to start up again

Sounds like a bad starter possibly getting non functional with heated up condition.

The solution is to change the starter with a new one, hopefully lifetime warranted if that's available.

Iii have an 1987 crown victoria.

OK, here is a mechanics secret that must be maintained in strict confidence... get a 3ft lenght of garden hose or a stick like half a billard q stick or similar sturdy stick. Now put against where you think the noise is coming from and put the stick or hose to you ear while holding it against the source. Move the stethescope around until you locate the source of the sound, then you can fix the suspected culprit. Many times a stuck valve lifter will be the culprit of such elusive ticking and this can be cured with some crankcase oil adative when you change the oil and it will like likely help.
good luck

1987 Ford Crown Victoria LTD

If it was an old police vehicle it has probably got an ignition kill switch located somewhere. This will have to be removed. And the wiring put back to factory standards. If not an old police car you are not getting voltage to the starter which is a bad relay. Do you get a clicking sound when you try to start? If yes, have someone keep hitting the start and listen and look for a relay under the hood.
