Ranger won,t start with charger after headlights on all night. what is the problem?

Maybe the deep discharge on battery trashed it and now it will not take a charge. Sure the charger is working? Give it enough time to charge the battery - at least five hours.

If my electrical start just clicks could this be the starterotor

Clicking sounds when starting indicates low voltage. This can be a due to a battery that is no longer holding a full charge or a problem with loose and / or corroded cables / connectors at the battery posts, ground, solenoid or starter. Remove cable connectors that have corrosion / white flakey powder one at a time and clean with 25% baking soda / 75% water to neutralize the acid causing the corrosion - by scrubbing it with an old tooth brush dipped in the mixture. Then clean posts and connectors with a wire brush. Check to be sure any battery caps are on tight and then wet the entire top of the battery with the mixture to neutralize the acid on the battery, too. Do not allow the mixture to enter the battery. Hose off everything when done. Check all the other connections and clean / tighten as needed. Either charge the battery or jump it to start the engine. If the battery is good, the alternator should charge the battery and keep it charged for you.

1992 Mazda mpv . Won't hold charge . Engine won't

The first thing to do is have the battery tested, just because you charged it doesn't mean it will stay charged if the cells are sulfated up or shorted.

My daughter 2004 Kia won't hold a battery charge.

voltage regulator. it may be in the alternator, or remote mounted. ((the alternator can be charging, but if voltage regulator is'nt working then it won't allow voltage to get back to the battery to keep it charged

If my vehicle receices a jump start and it won't hold a charge , what is wrong with it ?

Depends.
If the alternator is charging, and the battery will not hold a charge, I would suspect the battery.
If the alternator is not charging the battery, I would look at the fuseable links and connections.

2004 ford expedition charging system failed?

Sounds like battery not holding charge. Or a light staying on, boot or glovebox? Most likely battery tho.

Battery wont hold charge

you likely need a new battery. An old battery or one with a dead cell won't hold a charge.

Wont start just clicks, battery is 1 yr old, dials go crazy when trying to start it

It is possible your alternator has died. Try charging the battery or getting a jump. Once the engine is running remove the Neg. battery terminal. If the engine dies the alternator is bad. If the engine continues to run it is probably your battery. Also if you can get it to a chain auto parts store (like autozone) they ussually check charging systems for free.
