Question about 2003 Toyota Matrix
My 2003 matrix 2-6 radio buttons are flaking their color off. The actual buttons are fine and work, but the skin that has the numbers and black coating looks like its bubbling or just falling off. Can this be a problem with too much direct sun or is it most likely an internal problem with the radio and needs replacing?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

2004 Infiniti FX35 dash board may be mfg issue for Infiniti and you may look to them to solve the problem. I had the problem and they covered the dash part at 100%. I had to pay labor. Wound up at about $200. I had 84,000 miles on the car and outside warranty by over 15 months. Tells me they recognize an issue and will stand behind it. Be pleasant at dealer but insist they request support.

The 15 amp dome fuse is in the fuse box under the hood and the 15 amp CIG fuse is in the lower finish panel up under the dash on the drivers side. These are needed for the radio. The above fuses and also the 15 amp Gauge fuse in the box with the dome fuse under the hood are needed for the clock.
So...since both are dead it is likely to be 1 of the first 2 fuses mentioned.
