I have a lincoln town car that leans to the drivers side in the front. I had the back air bags and air generator replaced about a year ago. I also recently had the front shocks replaced.

2000 Lincoln Town Car Signature, replaced the rear air bags, all fuses and relays are good. Passenger side has more air than drivers. How would I release the air in the bag or bags and/or reset the ai

The level sensor may have detached. aIf so, reattach it, go into the trunk and find the on/off switch for the suspension and turn it off for a few minutes, then turn it back on. If it is not detached, you will need someone with a scan tool to manually cycle the raise/lower functions
to restore level condition, while looking at sensor readings to see of they are changing accordingly.

Air suspension 93 lincoln town car

Not really.
The air bags act as replacement or extra coil springs to hold the car up.
You might be able to replace them with coil springs from a Crown Vic.
That may cause problems with the front air bags and the rest of the system.

I have a 1999 Lincoln Town Car. My Air Suspension light is on what does this mean?

If you car is not 'slammed' (low in the front, or back, or both) it is usually the air compressor 'timing out'-running too long to fill the system. The bags eventually leak, and are almost guaranteed to need replacing every 8 to 10 years-if you have gotten this long without replacing any of them, you did well, but get ready because once they start to go, they go together. It is cheaper to replace the bags now since it will save your pump-the pump get to the point that it overheats and fails, adding greatly to the repair.

Air ride leak back bags wont lift dont hear a leak tho please help to bumby for my 2 year oold son

Any errors on dash ? Get a manual ! Resolve any errors. Next check for sound that compressor is running...it should run after a few seconds of 'Key On-Engine Off'' if air bags have low pressure. It is located (underneath air filter... left front).. Check for defecctive air bags and their solenoid valves.
I found used replacements for all of these components on eBay.

2001 town car - air bag compressor

It's located under the air cleaner housing on the drivers side. After removing the housing there is a round plastic cover to remove and it is under that.

Air suspension is controlled by the compressor in your engine compartment.  The compressor runs when the suspension is not level.  Either because you have loaded the car with exceptional weight and the system is now adjusting the ride, or you have a leak in the system, or you have a bad sensor.
If you have a leak, the most likely culprit are the air suspension bags, the air suspension solenoids or possibly the lines to them.

I don't work for either of them.  I own a 96 TC and have replaced my air suspension with coil springs form Strutmasters.  Work GREAT and I have no more air suspension problems.  Rides just as good too.  You can't tell the difference.
